Our practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive and anti-racist framework. Therapists utilizes a client-centered approach and works with individuals using a variety of therapeutic models such as – Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Focused therapy, Mindfulness practices, Accept and Commitment (ACT), Strength Based Approaches and other relevant approaches.

Selecting the right therapist can be a long process, but it does not have to be a difficult one. It is important that you take your time and do your research. Most therapists have areas of expertise or interest that may speak to your individual needs. Once you have narrowed it down, start to engage in consultation calls and see which therapist is a right fit for you. Make sure the vibe is right!

You will be provided with an overview of the therapy process. In addition, clients will review the intake form with therapist. All intake and consent forms must be completed prior to your first session.

Individual session fee is $150. A select number of sliding scale services are available. Please connect with me directly to discuss availability and eligibility.

Psychotherapy and Social Work services are not covered under OHIP.
Most extended health benefits/employer benefits cover your session fees. Please contact your individual insurance provider and inquire about the services covered in your package. Receipts are provided for insurance provider reimbursement upon receiving full payment.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length. If you require more time, you may request additional time prior to your session.

No, you do not require a referral to see a social worker.
However, if this is a requirement from your insurance provider, please speak with your insurance company for more information.

All individual therapy services are provided virtually through a PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act) compliant and secure platform. Wellness events, workshops and speaking engagements can be offered both online and in person. Travel reimbursement and accommodations may be required depending on location.

Availability varies. Please note, I do not offer therapy services on the weekend, contact me directly to discuss availability.

Individual therapy is provided to women 18+. Age may vary for workshops and events. Consent may be required for individuals under 16 years of age.

A full 24-hour notice is required to cancel an existing appointment. If you need to cancel with less than 24 -hour notice or do a no-show, you will be charged a full rate fee for the missed session.
